Watson Studio Gallery will celebrate it’s second birthday with a solo exhibition featuring the photography of Gallery Director and award-winning photographer, Carol Watson. The exhibition will include images from Carol’s many travel destinations and feature both color and digital infrared photographs.
Alternative Processes, a traveling exhibition, will make a stop at Watson Studio Gallery beginning Saturday, October 31st. This group of 51 photographic images were all created using alternative processes such as tin-type, cyanotype, and bromoil. This show features photographers from all over the USA. The exhibition was juried by Christopher James.
About the theme: IR Dreaming
This show will display the art and magic of infrared photography, from both film and digital cameras. Infrared photography captures light that is beyond the visible spectrum using special cameras or film that is sensitive to infrared light. This exhibition will feature photographers and artists that employ this technique to create compelling and surreal images.
